Subject: Invitation to ULFO Forum
Dear Compatriots;

At this stage of the Oromo National Liberation Struggle, the main task of Oromo forces is to coordinate their efforts, mobilize their resources and stand in unison for the cause they cherish in common - Bilisummaa. To achieve Bilisummaa, building an institution that supports the bases of the struggle is a prerequisite. Though, building an effective institution of a national stature demands tremendous experience in organizing human and material resources, ULFO has been striving to build such unity of purpose since its inception; because without it there is no real liberation and there will be no Bilisummaa. Regardless of all odds, ULFO is heading in the right direction in institutionalizing its efforts to materialize its objective. For this purpose, ULFO Delegates assembly is convening to rectify and issue ULFO's Program and Constitution from April 11 to 13, 2005 in Washington DC.

On the occasion of ULFO Delegates meeting, the coordinators of this summit are organizing a two-day Forum to take place prelude to the assembly. We believe you should be part of the on going dialog among the Oromo people on how to forge unity of purpose, hence we planed this two-day forum to solicit your input; it is your struggle after all. The essence of the forum is for the Oromo to summarize how far we have reached on our journey to Bilisummaa or how much we have done, what remained to be done and how to accomplish what are left to be done. Accordingly, we chose the topic of the forum to be “Summing The Past; Constructing The Future”. Hence, the organizer would like to extend its invitation to you / your Organization to participate in this very important undertaking. We want to be clear why we invited you to this occasion; We invited you to this occasion because we believed you / your Organization has an experience and wisdom to share with the rest of our participants, because each of us has an exceptional experience that are some what deferent, our experience as knowledge must be compassed into oneness to be used in organizing our national resources; hence we want you to share your experience with the others by physically being present and participate. Let us not forget we are building our future home – The Oromia State.

Concerning the means: though we would like to cover your expenses, we regret to inform you that ULFO as young institution has no fund to cover your expenses, hence we request you to sacrifice like all of us.

If you accept this invitation and would like to participate in this historic event, we would like you to inform us before hand, no letter than March 11, 2005.

Looking forward to seeing you on April 9, 2005
